DeSantis calls for grand jury investigation of COVID vaccines

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) is calling for a grand jury investigation into alleged “crimes and wrongdoing” related to COVID-19 vaccines and setting up Florida’s own Public Health Integrity Committee.

The governor’s office announced what it called “aggressive action” Tuesday after DeSantis held a roundtable discussion with physicians, researchers and victims “of adverse events from mRNA vaccines.”

“The federal government, medical associations, and other experts have created an expectation that receiving a COVID-19 vaccine is an ethical or civic duty and that choosing not to get vaccinated against COVID-19 is selfish and harmful to others,” DeSantis’s petition for the grand jury investigation reads.

The petition also alleges that it is “impossible to imagine that so many influential individuals came to this view on their own” and that the pro-vaccine individuals and companies “created these perceptions for financial gain.”

DeSantis said he’s further creating the Public Health Integrity Committee because he distrusts the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

And under the governor’s new actions, Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo will also conduct “autopsy surveillance” by investigating what the office called “sudden deaths” in individuals who received the COVID-19 vaccine.

I understand this process relates to the promotional-advertising claims regarding the vaccines.

Deaths and injuries not on the table.

Pharma will be raked for false ad claims not deaths or injuries related to vaccines.

Between federal jurisdiction and those pesky emergency declarations related to the vaccines the state can’t touch the death-injury stuff.

As a Floridian, I am outraged at this political announcement.

Dr. Fauci and those in his work chain have worked tirelessly to protect the American public. With President Trump's leadership, almost ALL safety studies were bypassed and in record time, vaccines were developed to keep the public safe.

And now DeSantis wants to grandstand this issue. Sure, a few have died but these vaccines have, and will continue, to save lives. DeSantis will put millions in jeopardy but apparently, he doesn't care about anything except his 2024 Presidential announcement.

Join me in condemning these knucklehead Republicans. Fortunately, President Biden will join Democrats everywhere to keep these safe and effective vaccines available to save lives, even if the President has to call out the National Guard./sarc

Fauci’s lawyer has issued a filing calling for pre-emptive legal protection from subpoenas for anyone 5 ft 7 or under.

Legal precedent was for fishing licenses: Most regulations on fishing require that only fish above a certain size are “keepers.” Smaller fish must be thrown back. 😇

I don’t trust our government, the NIH, the CDC, or the WHO.

I say a presentation on Remdesivir a couple of days ago,
and they were saying that it causes 3.00% more fatalities,
20.00% more of another metric (worse).

That goes counter to what I’ve heard about it over time.

Most reports had it helping a lot about 6 to 10 months ago.

These people lie to us when it would be better to simply
tell the truth. Then they speak in terms of misinformation
as if all they have said was above board, accurate, and
able to be trusted without question.

What leads you to believe that vaccine deaths and injuries won't be a part of the grand jury investigation? If the injections were falsely labeled as vaccines, and that led to death or injury from the injections, it seems perfectly relevant, because without those results what difference does it make if the advertising was false or not?

I expect this to not only impact the manufacturers but federal government representatives as well. Hopefully even Fauci will get snared in this as well, starting with subpoena.
