The fifth installment in the bombshell “Twitter Files” revealed Monday that staffers inside the social media giant pushed for former President Donald Trump to be barred from the social media platform, ostensibly for good.
Trump was banned from Twitter on Jan. 8, 2021, two days after a mob of his supporters breached the Capitol building and interrupted the certification of Joe Biden’s 2020 election victory.
According to journalist Bari Weiss, Trump tweeted twice on the morning of the 8th — once to praise the almost 75 million Americans who voted for him in the election and proclaim “They will not be disrespected or treated unfairly in any way, shape or form!!!”
In a second tweet, Trump announced he would not attend Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
In Weiss’ telling, the first tweet caused an uproar among Twitter’s employees, with one writing: “We have to do the right thing here and ban this account.”
“[E]xtraordinary circumstances demand extraordinary leadership,” another wrote, while a third added “its [sic] pretty obvious he’s going to try to thread the needle of incitement while not violating the rules.”

Twitter employees concluded that Trump broke no twitter rules. Vjay steps in and says to ban him for “future potential incitement of violence”. They also equated Trumps use of the word “Patriots” to “Terrorists”, and declared Trump was leading a bunch of terrorists equating this to Hitler and the Nazis......
Several other world leaders including the Ayotallah of Iran, actualled tweeted about needing to wipe Israel off the map. Twitter looked into it, and declared no policy violation and no banning.
What a circus. And to think our government is run by the same leftist activist corrupt haters as twatter.

This morning Bannon played a Morning Joe clip that discussed the absurdity of investigating Hunter. During the back and forth between Joe and Mika, Mika stated as a passing comment, “Brennan lied” as a way of justifying her stance on Hunter.
IOW, it appears Brennan is no longer the protected and media will not carry his water anymore.
The level of depravity is mind boggling.

The FBI has refused to say whether any of their informants were inside the Capitol. Which obviously means the answer is “yes”.
That is how I interpret it. The fact that it was said ‘in passing’ without response and it was framed as not a big deal - yet it was decisive. They don’t need a fall guy, they just need to shutdown that part of the story. By labeling him a liar ends that part of the story. But Brennan is finished as far as media goes until this laptop story is dead. Which will happen. Then Brennan will re-appear like all scum does.
If you watch these and other knuckleheads early in the fight, you can see them trying different approaches to win the upcoming battle. What works and what doesn’t. We are in that timeframe now with the ‘laptop’, they’ve already decided to let go of the ‘50 intelligence officers and their claims’ so they can jump to the next topic - laptop contents. Meanwhile, the deep state is eager to attack the repairman and Hunters partner Bobbinski (? spelling).
Will it make much of a difference? I doubt it. Until the people collectively fight back, nothing will change.
This is off topic, but it is appalling that no republican leadership or approach has changed since 2000 despite MAGA. Some seats have flipped MAGA but the core remains. No president can change that, only the voters.
