I still have vague memories of the pension bailouts of GM and other automakers years ago. The union members’ pension plans were bailed out but the pension plans of the non-union employees were not!

The “new normal” for Fed.gov is $1-$2 trillion deficits per year. 2022 deficit will be $1.4 Trillion.

Its NOT going down. Just wait for the next economic crisis - deficits afterwards will easily be $4-$5 trillion.

All that money will buy political control, which will be needed because our currency is being devalued to zero.

Two ongoing sayings about leftists:

They always throw money at a problem
and
They never met a tax increase they didn’t like.

Then....

The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money.—attributed to Margaret Thatcher.

Alexander Fraser Tytler wrote:

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence: From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to selfishness; From selfishness to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage.”

Is this a gift to try to lessen the blow of the overruling of the railroad union the other day?

This is unsustainable. One day soon the US economy will collapse under the weight of debt. It will be a global financial catastrophe.

"Only Congress can appropriate Funds."

Great point!

"Flanked by Union Allies, Biden corrupt Congress Touts $36 Billion Pension Bailout"

There! Fixed it.

And the problem remains that Congress cannot appropriate funds for anything that it cannot reasonably justify under its constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers, no mention of union pensions in Section 8.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States." —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Right.

The problem is that they will pass anything they feel like passing, knowing full well that it will take years of court battles (both sides paid by the taxpayers) to undo it.

And no one will be punished.

Not a plug nickle will be repaid of the federal debt, nor unfunded liabilities. It will crash, so the more $Trillions we can “spend” the better. Let’s get ‘r done! Fedzilla, Wall Street, FTX, FED, IRS, and to go to pieces.

Enter N.E.S.A.R.A.

And, G.E.S.A.R.A.

NCSWIC. Nothing!

Bring it
