How the HELL did Georgia become a Blue State?? The US is screwed….

Georgia isn’t a blue state. It’s a red state with two blue senators.

How did this happen? His name is Donald and he lives in Florida.

No, they do need the House. Senate can only confirm judges. To expand the number of SCOTUS judges takes a new law, which requires the House to pass it.

So long as some of these ID and mail in issues continue I don’t trust the integrity of our elections.

The slow boil is painful. I used to say, let it collapse. The faster it does, the faster we can rebuild.

It’s just an ugly thought. What would it look like?

I do know this, I don’t want to live under socialism/communism. I don’t like what the feral gubbamint is doing to it’s citizens...the leftist for the most part.

The whole weight of gubbamint is being thrown at American citizens with the support of at least half of the population. It’s terrible.

Worked all my life to try and put together a retirement and our leaders have flooded our country with the poorest of the poor from around the world. Monumental fiscal mismanagement threatens my retirement years.

I vote we get the party started.

There won’t be any rebuilding if the US implodes. It will simply cause the world to implode, and those who desire to rule the entire world taking power. We should be trying to hold the US together, and finding honest people to put into office who believe in our founding principles, so we can endure.

Sounds important to you, but I come from a family of farmers, who didn’t retire, unless bad health required it. As a child, whenever I asked why, I was always told “Read your Bible, it’s not in there. Noah worked until he was 500 years old” etc. That may not fit the expectations of what modern society has suggested to people, but it’s how I plan to live my own life. Good luck to you and yours.

But there has been and continues to be fraud. And voting by mail has become its major instrument.

There is a serious problem appealing to independent voters. It seems it is always much easier to know what did not motivate them than to know what will motivate them.

Without auditable and verifiable actual voting records, how does anyone actually know? Democrats have a long history of committing fraud and Republicans have an equally long history of pretending it does not matter.

“Trump is wildly popular with independents.” - central_va

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If he was wildly popular with independents, he’s have kicked butt in 2020 and the Trump Slate of candidates would have cruised to victory in 2022. Heck, Hershel Walker would be ready to enter the US Senate.

Voting by mail is not going away. If anything, it is spreading. We either learn to use it to work for us, or lose.

If there is cheating - and I don’t think there is in Arizona, although Atlanta and Philly are a different matter - then we need to learn to cheat better than they do.

Didn’t the Dems cross over during the primary? This seems to happen to pick the most likely to be defeated in the general.

Amazing, isn’t it?

The Democrats collude with Trump to get wholly unelectable candidates past the primaries where they’re soundly defeated in the general election.

It’s enough to make you wonder…

>>finding honest people to put into office who believe in our founding principles,<<

Guess the problem here would be the electoral process has been thoroughly perverted. Integrity in the vote has evaporated.

We ain’t voting our way outta this.

>>which is why I don’t care who is Speaker of the House, they’re all the same<<

It’s all kabuki theater. Despite how poorly McConnell, McCarthy, McDaniel and any other politician performs...they still seem to always get re-elected to their seat and to leadership.

Why is that? We have Senators/Reps talking smack about their crappy leadership yet turn right around and place them back in leadership.

Boggles my mind.

An LGBTQ poofter?

Armed and fabulous, just the way conservative Georgians like 'em.

“So we are just a 1 party government “

I think for now that is exactly what we are. You are right it is pointless to get on FR and gripe about it. It accomplishes nothing and l am as guilty as anyone.

>>Well civil war and some rightwing takeover isn’t going to happen either, in case that’s your idea of what could happen instead of voting<<

Well that’s not what I sit around and daydream about. Continue to vote, but folks have lost confidence in the integrity of the vote. It won’t make any differance.

We will continue to slide into a socialistic economic model and the government will continue to become larger, more intrusive, more oppressive.

Here’s the proof. Monumental fiscal mismanagement.

no...they didn’t

Officially, they did. Short of taking up arms, we have to accept that... for now.

We can get control back, but... it's going to take a lot of effort. Crying to our computers about cheating won't do it.

Micro-targeting voters with texts and emails and collecting ballots will get us closer.

Trump got 75 million popular votes. Desantis would stuggle to even get to 70 million. RINOs have no appeal to independents. Have fun playing patty cake with them GOPe loser.
Ryan said, “We probably likely lose the White House. We just did in ’20. So, I think we probably lose the White House with Trump.”

In 2020 Trump earned more popular votes than any Republican presidential candidate in United States history with 74.2 million popular votes. He also received more popular votes in 2016 than any other Republican. He out performed the 62.9 million votes he received in 2016 by 11 million.. Romney received 60.9 million in 2012. McCain received 59.9 million in 2008. George W. Bush received 62.0 million popular votes in 2004, and 50.4 million in 2000.

Biden ostensibly achieve 81.3 million votes in 2020. If Paul Ryan truly believes the 2020 election counts for both candidate were 100% accurate and not impacted by cheating, if Trump had not run for reelection in 2020, what Republican does Ryan believe could have earned enough votes to beat Biden? What Republican does Ryan believe can even beat Trumps 2020 74 million total in 2024 if Trump is not the nominee.

Does Ryan not realize that if Trump is cheated by the party establishment of the 2024 nomination, the conservative base will stay home and the establishment nominee (Pence, Haley, Pompeo, Hogan, etc) will receive far fewer popular votes than Trump did in 2000 or 2024? Ryan is either delusional or is already rooting for a Democrat winning in 2024 no matter who the Republicans nominate.
