U.S. Capitol Police (USCP) Chief Tom Manger said the “big failures” that occurred during the Jan. 6, 2021, attack have been fixed, but acknowledged there is more work to do for the force to be better prepared in the future.
In an interview shared Monday by NPR, Manger said he plans to hire 280 officers a year and is on track to meet that goal, with 195 officers currently in training.

“Capitol Police” is an oxymoron of gigantic proportions.
But, of course, they do pretend to protect morons.

Indeed, and the spokesman (chief) mentioned the suicides of a few officers, and “don’t define the Capital Police by that one day”.
His statement is a sob story.
Perhaps he was not permitted to mention that a high official prevented them for making the proper preparations.

When you have three officers standing at a barricade and 300 people are threatening to kill you if you don’t open the barricade, you open the barricade.
Capital Police....a group of minority affirmative action jack booted thug hires that are as corrupt as the people they are hired to protect. They are as trustworthy as the FBI. I made a trip to D.C. back in June and only saw one white Capital Policeman.
