Presuming a situation (for the sake of argument) where the 2020 election was stolen from Trump — a position that does have evidence to support it — the current administration would be illegitimate and the United States would have ceased to be a Republic. In that case, the Constitution and other republican laws would not, in fact, help the American people, because they only work as protections under a system of government that would have ceased to exist. Perhaps, instead of falsely accusing Trump of wanting to end the Constitution, the media should instead take on that argument.

The truly controversial and bombshell thing Trump claimed was that we are no longer living in a Republic. That’s what the media — and the American people — should be debating.

ABC World News Tonight brought this up again because they were discussing the Georgia Senate runoff and Trump had supported Walker.

They spent no time considering correct interpretations of Trump's statement.

They listed every accusation Warlock made against Walker, but listed none of the accusations against Warlock.

I interpreted what he wrote as the traditional election process as well as the Constitution were usurped by a fraudulent 2020 election.

Given that the election was fraudulent, is the corrective action to install the actual election winner in office or do you restore Constitution process and select a new leader in a fair election. I assume the Founders expected the Constitution would be repected as law rather than spontaneously reinterpreted at the whim of the few. There's no point in repeating an election whose results have been predetermined.

Trump should assume office as if he ran unopposed. The Dems should be penalized by being barred as a political party for at least 10 years. There MUST be a reckoning. And this is the peaceful way to do it.

Trump is completely right. Like on so many other issues he’s ahead of the game. How many Yeats before election integrity and the fakeness of the elections is a “Conservative” talking point in every election.
