Yes, we must break them out right away. Right?

That he was calling for the termination of the Constitution, or that the fraud caused the termination of the Constitution.

He thinks the fraud happened, so either way he thinks the Constitution is terminated, or should be.

It is both funny and sad to read leftist idiots comments on FR.

So, here's the thing: Trump didn't say the current administration should be overthrown due to their efforts to destroy the Constitution (I would respect him if he said that).

Trump basically said the Constitution should be tossed aside so he can regain power. You may abide that, I do not.

A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution

Focus closely on this sentence. 'Allows for' can be taken to mean it permits violations by himself or his sitting government, OR it could mean it creates room for violations by the left.

There is too much ambiguity and this is too dangerous a topic for that.

I'm just becoming flat uncomfortable with the man. Perhaps his time has passed.

Question number two.

Which part/clause of the US Constitution was violated/ignored in the 2020 election?

Hint..it was the clause that triggered the final Bush V Gore debate in the courts.

I know the fraud happened, but I am uncomfortable with him stating the Constitution is nullified or should be.

Then you’re seeing something that doesn’t exist.

I do believe that he has tried to make a statement pointing to the enormity of the damage done because of the Twitter suppression of Hunter's story, but he has done it rather maladroitly. His lack of political finesse got the better of him here, and he said something that is bizarre at first reading, and can be misinterpreted almost by default.

In the complete absence of political handlers for his public statements, Trump is the polar opposite of Biden, who is treated like a child by his puppeteers.

Horseshit! If Donald Trump has a heart attack tomorrow, it won’t spell the end of the USA!

> Trump never should even ALLUDE to cancelling the Constitution in any manner, any portion of it. <

Yep. We all have inappropriate musings from time to time. (Mine involve Jennifer Aniston, but that’s another story.)

Most folks have the self-control to keep their inappropriate musings private. And rich folks can also hire advisors to help keep everything in check. It’s pretty obvious that Trump has neither the self-control nor the necessary advisors.

Don’t get me wrong. Trump had, and has, many good ideas. But these odd unforced errors of his are becoming more common. I supported him in 2016 and 2020. But he’s pushing me away now.

The words of most politicians are far better than their actions. Trump is the opposite - his actions as president were overwhelmingly positive and good for the United States, while the stuff that comes out of his mouth and out of his typing fingers is so cringe-inducing.

Spot on.

Not sure what is going on theses days.

Was just commenting to DD, how I felt FR was more unified after surviving 2015/2016 thread wars.

Who are you going to vote for President, Bitch McConnell? I suppose that you would like to vote for John McNasty for President. Too bad the nasty little gimp is dead.

There is little ambiguity.. it’s telling that the implications are so bold that Trump’s strongest supporters here are reading into it the opposite of it’s intent. Trump is saying that the scandal of the 2020 election is so big that it would be acceptable to set aside constitutional constraints to remedy it. It’s not very ambiguous at all. Funny how those who love Trump most here are intent to project his clear meaning unto their ideological enemies. Jim knew what he meant or he would have never posted the section of the Declaration dealing with just overthrow of tyrannical governments.

To be fair, you could interpret it either way. However, there is too much at stake to take a chance. I don't want a dictator or a Constitution-nullifier, no matter how much I might agree with most of the accompanying agenda.

Not saying Trump IS that, but this sort of comment on his part does not help.
