A lot of rationalizing. Bottom line, the Republican party finds a way in a contract that they cannot get 7 days of sick leave. A meaningless unnoticeable part of a contract for almost all Americans. But Republicans to the rescue!
Now they can move on to giving Biden and Ukraine everything they ask for and finding a way to cut Social Security. Oh, and standing up for stolen elections, ballot harvesting, ballot “curing” etc.
There is no way to spin this into a Republican win. The GOP stands against every blue collar middle class interest they can find. The Democrats already hate us, so where are we supposed to go? To the party that hates us -slightly- less?
How much PTO do they get per year? If they get 80-120 hours that’s two-three weeks. I’m betting they get more than that. So if they get sick use some paid time off(PTO).
I had a friend who worked for Sante Fe for 30 years. When they moved the factory he was laid off. The union did nothing for him. Except take his union dues for all those years.
