How much PTO do they get per year? If they get 80-120 hours that’s two-three weeks. I’m betting they get more than that. So if they get sick use some paid time off(PTO).
I had a friend who worked for Sante Fe for 30 years. When they moved the factory he was laid off. The union did nothing for him. Except take his union dues for all those years.
Right. I'd be surprised if this wasn't the case. Same happened at my company. They rolled all PTO together into one big bucket. I would be really, really shocked if these rail workers don't already get a crapload more PTO than I do.
