The Railway Labor Act was enacted in 1926.
The government has overseen railway labor/management issues ever since.
Why is Joe getting involved with issues that are negotiated in Union contracts? Is Joe going to cut a contract with the rail workers so he can get his 10% from the Union coffers?
Everywhere I have worked, we never had sick days
We all know what happened to Louis XVI. I believe he “Lost” something important.
Oh, another empty promise.
Assistant Democrats
See GOP Establishment
🤣
ya know, it’s like this Jobama regime is intentionally causing hardship for the American people. NFS!!!
Apparently their sick leave policy sucked? Pretty hard to buy that load of 💩. Just stick to the 24% raise. Grrrrr!
Or should I say they helped rescue Biden from his disaster.
It’s a trap!
Imagine if Trump tried to force rail workers to work without any sickpay? How would the fake news be covering this story? Because that is EXACTLY what the communist party with Joe Biden is doing!
I hate to admit this because there would be hunger and riots-—but let the rail strike happen. This country needs to crash and burn before it ever begins to heal.
Woodrow Wilson nationalized the Railroads during World War I, that’s basically the precedent.
In that episode, he threatened to draft every railroad employee into the Army, who would then be guilty of disobeying a direct order by refusing to go to work, and then thrown in jail.
While this kind of action might have control freaks and other assorted leftists salivating, there isn’t some readily available pool of choo-choo train engineers cooling their heels somewhere ready to play “scab” or whatever and cross picket lines?
This is a strange hill to die on.
We don’t have steam engines anymore. So I would say there should be ample replacements available
This is the ploy where you don’t do anything about it when you have all three branches of government and then blame it on a subsequent take over of the other party. It’s great for a fund raising issue and demonizing the opposition to gain votes.
The Democrats have all the control they need to pass this bill. Let it stand or fall on their votes. Meanwhile … some of the most conservative members of the Senate cast meaningless votes in support of “the little guy” in the railroad unions. LOL.
Yeah
“Rail strike! Thieves of color hardest hit.”
