Fewer than half of students at Cambridge University are heterosexual... with a third identifying as bisexual, survey suggests

Less than half of students at Cambridge University now identify as heterosexual, a survey has found.

Around 600 undergraduates took part in the anonymous online poll for student newspaper Varsity last month.

Of those, just 49.7 per cent said they were heterosexual...

Most polls are intended to manipulate opinion. They are not reliable indicators of anything except pushing public opinion one way or another.

Most of us didn’t actually rebel. I was in college late 60s to early 70s. We went to class, paid our own way, behaved ourselves, graduated on time. Spouse was chemical engineer 40+ years until retirement. We just dressed like hippies. Our granddaughter does that now. And at 8 she isn’t rebelling. The young people who actually rebelled were very few in number and mostly in California, of course. We even repaid my loans on time, in full, at a time when we only made $1000 a month.
