Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) slammed former President Trump’s “awful lack of judgement” for his meeting with Nick Fuentes, a white supremacist who has previously espoused antisemitic and racist rhetoric.
Trump had dinner with Fuentes, a livestreamer who has previously denied the Holocaust, and the rapper Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, on Tuesday at his Mar-a-Lago property in Palm Beach, Fla.

“...it’s okay for him to hang out with people like Kanye and Fuentes...”
Your perspective seems rather blinkered, and your thinking, confined, short term.
Okay, sorry, I'll restate that: Trump may as well experiment with sharing a meal with the likes of Ye and his misfit friends.

I predict it will, at least eventually.
It’s important that Trump never be colorably accused of snobbery.

Do you petdinally believe it is okay for Trump to hang out with people like Kanye and Fuentes? Because everything you’ve been saying says the opposite.

There are lots of whip-smart, potentially Trump-loyal people out there.
Okay, you named Chris Wray - who are the others? Make up a list and send them to Trump as suggested dinner guests.

I think anyone who believes Trump did himself a favor by having dinner with Kanye West and Nick Fuentes does not have Trump's best interests in mind.

When will he learn? That’s the problem. He will never learn.

Chris Wray, IMHO, has no personal integrity, a reputation of someone who will never cross highly-placed people in the agency he heads, and has the unique ability to eat, drink, and breathe deep state slime all week long and come up with perfectly coiffeured hair, seated on a government-funded plane heading directly to his favorite personal vacation spot.

Ah, you’re right - I only saw one name mentioned and thought it was a recommendation. So among the lots of whip-smart, potential loyal Trump dinner guests out there, who would you recommend to him?

None.
Sadly, he would never hire any of them.
Trump’s Achilles Heel is that he is and has always been a sucker for a solid gold, Ivy League-studded CV.

Had you appended that to your OP it would’ve saved a lot of typing. Just saying.

Christie..... what a waste of oxygen. His glory days were at least 12 years ago.

Love/hate situation I admit.
Trump wakes up in the middle of the night in a pool of sweat, his nightmare being that the non-Ivy League person he in a weak moment hired for a major post failed, thereby validating the age-old indictment perennially lobbed at him by wealthy Manhattan-born naysayers (i.e., that a mere Queens-born fellow can never really be in the “club”).

And the ‘not our war’ war threads are polluting the heck out of FR :P They’re *very* busy today. And every bit as annoying as always.

Well I, at least, was only referring to Trump having dinner with lots of whip-smart potential loyalists who might talk with him about his campaign and issues. Not appointment seekers.

I agree. Something needs to be done to cut their spam down to a reasonable level 🤔
