Elon Musk isn’t upset that ex-President Donald Trump hasn’t returned to Twitter after Musk unbanned him, but he is upset that Trump was banned in the first place.
On Friday afternoon, Musk replied to a question about Trump with the eyebrow-raising statement, “I’m fine with Trump not tweeting. The important thing is that Twitter correct a grave mistake in banning his account, despite no violation of the law or terms of service. Deplatforming a sitting President undermined public trust in Twitter for half of America.”
After losing the 2020 election, Trump’s official term ended on Jan. 20, 2021, when Joe Biden was sworn in as president.
In May, long before the Twitter sale went through, Musk called the Trump ban “morally wrong and flat out stupid” and stated he intended to reverse it.
For the past several months, the bipartisan Jan. 6 Committee has been investigating Trump’s tweets on the day a mob of Trump supporters and Proud Boys stormed the U.S. Capitol with the avowed intent of stopping the certification of the 2020 election and killing both Vice President Mike Pence and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi.
Several former Trump staffers have offered damning testimony that Trump refused to order the violent mob to stop and in fact had wanted to lead the march to the Capitol. Trump has not responded to a subpoena to testify before the committee.

Its not President Trump's business to go out there and order anyone to stop protesting. That was Speaker Pelosi’s job, to call in the forces to stop any protests that got too vigorous. And Pelosi was too busy hiding under a desk to do her job.
Plus not only did President Trump not break any laws, he didn't break any Twitter rules either.
And he was the sitting President of the United States at the time, only to get banned from Twitter by some deranged Indian immigrant low life.

Who cares even if laws were broken? Ever notice how many laws are created almost daily? At all levels if government?

The truth of course , his last two tweets that day, before his ban, explicitly stated - NOT TO CAUSE VIOLENCE. Much like his speech he made earlier that day…it known he wanted peaceful protests. No amount of gaslighting can change the facts. Day by day the 1/6 narrative erodes. The harder the media try to keep this in the spotlight , the more irrelevant it becomes.
Yep - the old Twitter would say you broke a rule but not say how you broke it.

Trump will surely make use of Twitter once the presidential campaign kicks into high gear. In the meantime, his amount of followers continues to grow and now we have confirmed Dragon separation.
