MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WREG) — Memphis Police released surveillance video Tuesday after more than 20 shoplifters stormed Walmart and got away with some expensive items.
Surveillance video shows the suspects pulling into the parking lot of the business around 8:50 p.m. Sunday.
According to police, the armed shoplifters entered the store through the automotive section after allegedly throwing a four-way tire iron through a window in the section.
In the video that was released Tuesday, you can see dozens of people running into the store and leaving with their arms full of various items.

We can always name that tune in one note.
Then they complain no stores in their neighborhoods and wonder why.
I didn’t see the particular area of Memphis where this happened. As for safety, Memphis crime has reached out to Jackson, Tennessee, and Corinth, Mississippi, and is getting worse monthly.
Heard on our local talk radio last week that Target had announced a $600 million dollar loss to theft. Unbelievable.
The amount and severity of crime that has escalated in recent years is such a sad indictment on our culture, our society. Say what you want, but when the Marxist left was successful in removing God from schools, from the public conscience, and having decided it was okay to give away free stuff and to throw personal responsibility out the window, accepting that certain classes of people are forever victims, we have just marched right down the road to one hellacious reality/future for this country.
My dear 85-year-old mother lives in Florida and of course we talk everyday. She follows the news, current events, she knows what’s going on and it’s like she always says to me,”You’re not safe anywhere anymore.”
Breaks my heart to think of this kind of world our precious grandchildren (ages 16, 13, 7, 5, 3) are having to grow up in.
Lawyers ended those days.
The discount retailer told reporters on a call to discuss its third quarter earnings results that inventory shrinkage — or the disappearance of merchandise — has reduced its gross profit margin by $400 million so far in 2022 compared to 2021. "At Target, year-to-date, incremental shortage has already reduced our gross margin by more than $400 million vs. last year," Target CFO Michael Fiddelke said on the earnings call, "and we expect it will reduce our gross margin by more than $600 million for the full year." Yep
Memphis, TN is a ‘chocolate city’ with an abundance of the problem race.
Yes, I know. I’m an adopted Tennessean. And that’s why I don’t go anywhere near there.
How will they explain it to their Maker when that time comes?
“Well, there will still be shoe stores ...”
I agree. Maybe stores will have to do some sort of screening before letting people enter.
In addition to the mob stealing there’s also simple shoplifting. We’ve heard that store management will tell clerks to not approach shoplifters if they are stealing less than, say, $100 of merchandise.
Rofl! I miss Johnny. A truly funny comedian with class.
The usual suspects.
Instead of seeing it as either Christian or atheist like most whites are, with blacks it might be best to see them as either Christian or hedonist (with too many trying to be both). Just like way too many whites try to show they're smart or cool by being atheist, way too many blacks try to show they're authentically black by being hedonist, even ones who claim to also be Christian.
I still stand by my original assessment. The path to improving society, including blacks, is to teach Jesus, Jesus, and more Jesus and to show how hedonism is what's harming the "black experience" more than anything else.
🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦
That same gang hit a shoe store too!
the only thing left on the shelves were work boots
Now that’s funny.
