I don’t think there’s any single answer.
The Democrats do have a massive ground game advantage that they’ve now retrofitted into a ballot collection machine, hoovering up ballots from every low and no information “voter” who never would’ve otherwise voted.
Still, they didn’t know how badly did get swamped on Election Day. The MSM was running hit pieces on Biden in the lead-up to the election in anticipation of a red wave. They did this to deter him from declaring for another term immediately after their drubbing before they could talk him out of it. In other words, they were as confident in their defeat as we were in our victory.
I do believe that many of their non-comatose voters, while they were unhappy with Democrats, were kept on board with their anti-trump propaganda.
Because he endorsed them AFTER they had pulled ahead in the polls, so that he could claim credit, as he has.

DemoKKKrats will use Trump for turnout, but millions of Trump voters will only turn out if he is on the ticket.

100% nonsense. Trump endorsements in swing districts/states mostly lost. Only endorsements in deep red districts won and they would have won without the endorsement.
