He quit as House Dpeaker and left Congress and convinced other snakes like Trey Gowdy to quit to so we lost the House during Trumps mid terms assuring that Trump and the people didn’t get what he promised on things like Obamacare repeal. You are right. Ryan ignores the facts. Many Republicans who were not Trump supporters, or supported by Trump have lost elections - now and in the past.
Trump's preferred candidate for NH House District 1 did not make it past the primary. We had a good Republican candidate but she lost to the Democrat. In 2016 Kelly Ayotte, a sitting US Senator, lost to Maggie Hassan. Ayotte was anti-Trump.
Paul Ryan is just another politician who has forgotten how to tell the truth.
The truth is, the RINOs depended on real conservatives to support them, but we can’t depend on them.
RINOs would rather vote for a socialist, than support those who have always supported them.

What should be quoted is NJ ex-Gov: CANDIDATES MATTER.
The quality of a candidate matters to the voters.
The quality of the campaign manager also matters. Here in GA Herschel Walker could have easily won had had followed the advice of Bill Clinton managers: Get the negative out early. Neutralize it so it cannot be used by the opposition.
Herschel had the perfect story: He was less than the perfect person in his youth. He saw it as poor mental health, which is an easy disease to attract if you are a sports mega star.
Herschel and his ex-wife made a video about mental health and healing and recovery. It is the story of Christain redemption. The movie portrays with emphasized drama, the before and after.
The Democrat apparently quotes from the dramatized “before” part for negative ads against Herschel. Herschel’s campaign manager was derelict, incompetent to not present early a story of redemption that would have made the Democrat negative advertising laughable.
Candidates matter. Campaign Strategy matters.
Wm H Bill Robinson, my early mentor in Chicago politics said “There are three things in politics. Money, people, and the brains to know what to do with them.”
Republicans lacked the brains in 2022.
The lesson should be to trust your own judgment, have confidence in your own abilities, and don't let others tell you what "the rules" are.
