Having grown up in a (somewhat) stable post WW II USA, whoever would have predicted this?
I have a book in my library “The Roots of American Stability.” I bought it years ago in a used book store and never read it. It might be an interesting book to read now.
That book might be golden, I suggest you read it and report.
I feel the same way.
A few years ago, I read somewhere that someone made a prediction that America would collapse in 2024.
I thought it was absurd. “Who says things like that?” I thought.
Now, I wonder if we can make it past 2024 as a nation.
I can tell you the roots, it was a God fearing, Bible believing and literate society. They had self control and self governance, therefore no need for oppressive massive government.
