Disappointing. That was an excellent, presidential, convincing speech, and it only makes Pompeo look bad for attacking Trump because of it.

Pompeo is another one trucking down the fools path thinking he has a chance to be president.
Just because the democrats allow people like Biden and Fetterman in office doesn’t mean other people allow it.
I recall a lot of people thinking he was a Democrat who just didn’t like free trade.
This is disappointing. I would have said Pompeo was one of the good guys until now.
But he has never spoken out against the perverted elections, and now he is prepared to forget about the years long coup attempt against his former employer. Normally, sure, don’t waste a lot of energy looking back. But in this case we have a completely corrupted FBI and DOJ going after a sitting president, his boss. And then going after him to make sure he doesn’t run again. Nothing has been done to clean them up, and Pompeo wants to pretend it never happened.
He wants to be president, obviously. But what’s the point if he is prepared to leave the criminals safe in their jobs?
This only helps Trump. He has all the right enemies.

Trump has a bad habit of criticizing publicly the key people on his time. Due to his huge ego, Trump takes credit for everything he perceives is good, he rarely shares the credit. When things go back he is quick to blame, and never takes personal accountability. Leaders who adopt the “its all about me” form of leadership, rarely receive absolute loyalty from their subordinates.
Pompeo was great Sec State and what he says is true —we need solutions not victimhood or complaints or victimhood or name calling but his timing is wrong and hey isn’t he just complaining
Pompeo never had a chance to be the president. I guess he figures that attacking Trump publicly will help him get money from the donor class.
No one is above criticism, but what is his alternative? Surely not his sorry ass.
So I guess victimhood means get on your knees and spread wide for the democrats.
(His Kansas speech years ago alluding to helping God bring about Armageddon was enough for me.)
