Unfortunately we are to busy to protest. We are working, raising our kids and enjoying family life, we can’t protest. Our kids can, but most of us raised our kids to rely on themselves, not the government, so our teens are out working, so they can’t protest. Who can our preteens?

True enough for people in that stage of life. We are forced to worry about how to make ends meet today and don’t do anything about what they are stealing from tomorrow.

I get it. My kids are between 6 and 17. It seems like all we can do to try to keep up with homeschooling, taking care of our little homestead, and earning the money to keep the whole thing going. Still, if there was a protest in my area I would make a point of taking a PTO day or more to drag the whole clan there to make a showing. We live in Missouri though, a solidly red state without the kind of electoral hijinks that plague Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania, etc so there isn’t much call to protest here.

But there are also a lot of people who are beyond that stage. Where are the grandparents to fight for their kids and grandkids? Arizona is one of those places old people move to for retirement. Retirees have the time, why aren’t they motivated to save the country for the next generation?
