My posting was about what started the war, not what happened AFTER it started. Breathe deep. Try to focus. Try to understand the topic before pecking away on the keyboard and you will find it more conducive to an edifying exchange of opinions. YMMV

The ignorance level on this site is way too high for you to get rational thought. People have to consider the historical roots of Russia and how Ukraine fits into that. Crimea for example was historically Russian, but Nikita Kruchev gave it to Ukraine for some political purpose, when it was the old USSR. Further Ukraine isn’t 100% Ukrainian. The City of Odessa for example is about as far way from Russia as you can get in Ukraine. Yet Odessa is a Russian speaking city.
People on this site tend to forget or dismiss the idea that Russia is a great power and can exert it’s will onto Ukraine. This idea that you can stop Russia from doing that is going to ruin Ukraine. At the end of the day Russia will prevail. The numbers are on their side. Ukraine is down to recruiting foreigners. When the ground freezes Russia will be free to move anywhere they damn well please as their front lines extend hundreds of miles along a large plain. Ukraine’s surrender is just a matter of time.
