I can certainly agree with abortion remarks. All that getting rid of Roe v Wade was supposed to do was give that matter back to the states as it was before. Graham’s remarks about a nationwide ban were just as contradictory as having nationwide abortion on demand.
Social Security is the most popular federal program, according to polls
So Republicans who call for “sun setting” it must be on the take from Democrats, in my theory, because there’s no political future for a party that opposes a program Americans overwhelmingly support.
Agreed. It was an idiotic move by someone who should know better.
Because that was to purpose.
Hassan had an audio clip of Bolduc, speaking to women upset about Dobbs, in which he said, “Get over it”.
I don’t have cable, and I don’t listen to OTA radio. But by the time the campaign ended, I must have heard the candidate say, “Get over it” 500 times on youtube or other internet platforms.. My daughters heard it on social media thousands of times.
Once this ad showed up, it needed a prepared response. We all have off-the-cuff smartass responses to annoying media questions. But we are not all major party candidates for the US Senate.
If there was a response, though, I never heard it.
I voted for Bolduc (obviously), but not in the primary. Hassan was beatable, but not by him - and now the “bipartisan, seeking solutions, budget cutting, friends with Republicans” Maggie Hassan has six years to let her freak flag fly.
It was Hawley, I think, who said the GOP was dead. He’s right, and the funeral can’t come too soon.
Time to move on.

No one believed that.
The rush in red states to restrict abortions clearly indicated that restrictions at the federal level would be pursued as well.
Plus, there was talk about getting the Supreme court to decide on fetal personhood.
