Donald Trump has stepped up his attacks on Republicans and potential 2024 presidential election rivals by saying Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin couldn't have won without his support.
The former president wrote on Friday morning that 'Young Kin' is a name that 'sounds Chinese' and that he helped him get the 'MAGA vote' in his victory over Democrat Terry McAuliffe in November 2021.
It comes after Trump laid into Ron DeSantis by calling him 'average' and claimed that he sent in the FBI to 'stop ballot theft' when he won the Florida Governor race in 2018.
'Young Kin (now that’s an interesting take. Sounds Chinese, doesn’t it?) in Virginia couldn’t have won without me,' he posted on Truth Social.
'I Endorsed him, did a very big Trump Rally for him telephonically, got MAGA to Vote for him - or he couldn’t have come close to winning. But he knows that, and admits it. Besides, having a hard time with the Dems in Virginia - But he’ll get it done!'

A lot the press and Never-Trump Republicans piling on Trump after the Red Wave didn’t arrive. I don’t think it’s really Trumps fault, not gonna get upset about that.
I am very upset about Trump’s attacks on other Republicans, the attacks are non-stop. DeSantis, and now Youngkin have not attacked Trump and yet Trump is treating them worse than Democrats. Trump coming out and publicly saying he has dirt on DeSantis just before the election was way over the line.
I don’t think Trump sees himself as a Republican anymore. It looks like he’s head of the Trump Party, otherwise he wouldn’t be doing all this crazy crap that is damaging Republicans.
Trump’s comments are directed to the media establishment and RINOs that are working overtime to discredit his effectiveness and general success. His waggish tactics are effective AFAIC.
Maintain a sense of humor — it’s politics after all.

Yes! He’s made it very tough for the outstanding candidates. And unnecessarily, at that. I can’t defend him anymore.
Both parties are a mess right now. We’ve got the Jonah Goldberg, Liz Cheney wing. We’ve got some old time RINO’s who simply don’t know any better. We’ve got a lot of fed-up conservatives who voted for Trump because he had some great ideas followed by 4 years of success. Then there’s the Q-Anon wing which leaves me baffled and the ones who will not tolerate any criticism of Trump.
But the dems have gender-denial, abortion til birth, men are evil, white men are the MOST evil, going for them. And- everything should be free because capitalism is bad and criminals should be let go or not be arrested.

I think Reagan could have handled even that better than did Trump. Trump constantly sticks his own foot in his mouth. I am personally a social blunder waiting to happen; yet, even I cringed at MOST of the crap Trump spouted.

Besides, Winsome Sears. Lt. Gov., came out yesterday blaming Trump for all the “losses” abd that the “Party” had spoken abd she was dumping Trump. I think it’s a Gstch Act violation at the very least but I will mo longer support her. That’s the Uniparty message. If we all want business as usual with McConnell, Ryan, Romney, Bushes. Clinton’s, Obama in charge, then follow the party line.
I voted for him twice and do not regret it but I cannot see voting for him ever again. If there is a method to his madness I suppose he’s angling for the promise of a pardon in exchange for ceasing his preposterous attacks.
