Wrong.

Every registered voter in FL can request a mail-in ballot, no excuses needed. You can send a request by mail, or go down in person and pick up a mail-in ballot. You have to provide name, address, etc so they can check that you are a registered voter.

There were nearly 3 million Floridians who voted by mail in 2022.

There are mail-in FL ballots, but you have to request one to be sent to you. That's what I did, called the election supervisor in my county and they mailed me a ballot. You can also track your mailed ballot online to make sure it was received and counted.

Voting integrity systems were put in place in Florida after the state became a national laughingstock in the wake of the 2000 presidential election, and "hanging chad" became a symbol of questionable vote totals. Florida permits any registered voter to request an absentee ballot, but the request has to be received by the office of the local supervisor of elections by the close of business ten days before the election. Only the voter or an immediate family member can make the request. There are NO mass mailings of vote-by-mail ballots
