McConnell spent 40 million on Oz (PA)

I thought Oz was Trump's fault and now you tell me it is McConnell's? Oh my aching head.

Trump is running in '24. Desantis will get crushed if he tries to go against Trump.

You will be voting for Trump in Nov. ‘24.

Get used to the idea.

Where else are you going to go?

You can waste a lot of money for nothing on a lousy candidate like Oz.

The democrats deploy their money strategically focused on frustrating Republicans. McConnell had a different strategy.

supporting even the poor candidate put up by the state party when the election is critical.

Fine. And when you support the shit candidates in the critical elections and they then lose those critical elections, it's reasonable to question the leaders that put those shit candidates on the ballot in the first place.

We say this EVERY election.

He’s ensconced in the DC swamp.

How, exactly, do we rid the party of him, McCarthy-Luntz and Ronna Romeny???

As the democrats have proven, its not the quality of the candidates but the grass root organizations. It does not appear as important to convince voters of the candidates qualifications, but instead to collect as many votes as possible (even if you have to create some). All they need is a brain-dead candidiate and then fund their organization to harvest the votes. Hell, they barely even need to campaign.

If you believe that, I think you might be surprised.

These people have had six years to figure out how to counter Trump. They have been testing these strategies and refining them.

I am not counting Trump out. But I don’t think he gets the nomination without “burning down the house.” And that would do more long term damage than I think you can imagine. And the establishment won’t let that happen.

Political junkies will be studying the past six years for centuries to come.

When you have seemingly endless resources to outspend your Republican opponent(even in safe districts) 5-10 to 1...there's no reason to have a "money" strategy, is there?

Back in the day, when Republican's seemingly had a financial campaign advantage, the dems and their media cried and cried "UNFAIR!, IT'S ALL THOSE RICH PEOPLE AND CORPORATIONS...yada yada yada.

Now that the advantage has completely flipped(and then some)...why is no one asking the same questions about the democrat party?

We know the MSM won't, for obvious reasons...but it's still a question someone should be asking...WHERE are they getting all this money?

If it resulted in the rubble bouncing that would likely be a good thing. And the establishment has lost control. The number of things they are trying to control - upholding the US$ as the world's reserve currency, stopping Russia, China and the other BRICS countries, exceeds their resources and they resent it.

Their rules based international system is collapsing around their ears.

So I wouldn't be in the prediction business right now.

Trump doesn't have candidates, the Republican party and the people have candidates.

President Trump didn't vote here in New Hampshire. The citizens of NH voted in our primary and picked our candidates.

It would have been nice if the national Republican Party, and other Republican politicians deployed more resources to support the candidates we chose in our primaries. But they didn't.

By contrast the Democrat Party did support their candidates, as did the media, and the vast number of liberal Democrat controlled 501c-3 non-profits.

Mitch didn’t want to win, period. Knowing that it would forever destroy MAGA, he got what he wanted.

McConnell doused the flame of a Republican fire storm.

More accurately he handed the burning torch to the Democrats with his comment about banning abortion nationwide. What a stupid thing to say. That quote appeared in hundreds of attacks against Republicans in New Hampshire.
