SHARM EL SHEIKH, Egypt (Reuters) - If Republicans take control of the U.S. House of Representatives they are likely to "nix" the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, the committee's chair Democratic Representative Kathy Castor said on Thursday at the COP27 climate summit.

Speaking on the same panel, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Democrats and Republicans in the House of Representatives would have to work together on climate issues.

Maybe not related to Castor oil but just as bitter and repulsive. Here’s her old crone of a mother that was also entrenched in Florida politics and a flaming liberal….

They are like the Bushes and Clintons but at a much lower level of significance, but they never go away.

Nothing any “committee” can do will affect the climate. It’s a waste of time. Finding ways to adapt to climate changes would be more productive.

The climate will continue to change as it has since God set the Earth spinning and as it will to the end of time.

Yeah, like that’s a surprise.

Note to Democrats: “Elections have consequences.” Your God Obama told us so. If the Republicans take both houses of Congress, then, according to God Obama, they get to set the agenda in Congress.

Might be they don’t think your fake concerns about so called climate change rates a seat at the table. They might want to take on the inflation issues, the immigration issues, drug issues, crime issues, education issues, corruption issues, amongst others first . . .

I did :)
We had 20 ft, 30 ft, and 40 ft points to jump off. Only saw one person, a French Twin Otter, pilot do the 40. The water was 1200-1400 ft deep

Back then we got the overflow when Eilat and Dahab were full of tourists. Amazing place to swim/snorkel.

Typical Army fashion they almost drowned half of us "drownproofing". Full length of Olympic pool in BDUs, Boots, and carrying mock M16.

Then we get there and float on top of the water like a cork.
