Trump doesn’t have control over a state (s) and election laws are state issues. RDS is in charge of a state, not a country or a party, so fixing election issues are within his purview.

“cloture shuts off debate on a bill, in order to force a vote...”

Yes, but what I meant was, there is a parliamentary step that must be overcome before a bill is passed.

I understand your post—but at some point even good reasons are not good enough for failure.

At some point they just become excuses.

One thing in the corporate world is that when a manager explains all the reasons that failure was out of their control they need to be gone—even when their arguments are valid.

The reason for that is they have becomes experts at justifying failure instead of getting success.

Republicans need to just keep voting after election day until they win like the democrats do.

Herschel Walker will now get focused attention from all of the worst elements in electoral society, and can be assured of precious little effective support from fellow so-called Pubbies.

And Walker will not have help from Kemp in a run-off. In a head to head race this becomes a straight Dem election and Walker goes down.

It is not the fault of President Trump that these Republican Candidates lost, it is the fault of the losing GOP Candidates who shied away from President Trump and did not have Trump at all their rallies or have Trump featured in their TV commercials.

Do you really, truly believe this?

I fear that you are right. Kemp is establishment.

Wanna bet if I ran Walker’s campaign that he would win the runoff? Easily. But I don’t.

The third party (libertarian) won’t be participating in the run-off, and most libertarians who bother to vote will vote with the GOP. So he might have a chance.

Zero chance Walker wins a runoff. It will not be allowed.

The only way Walker wins the runoff is if the GOP already controls the senate and it doesn’t matter.

Right. This is nonsense. Only O’Dea in Co. trashed Trump.

I understand your business explanation but in thus instance I don’t see how they can be compared. Trump and many Rs have been working since 2020 to address election integrity, but if you don’t have a State Senate, House, AG, Gov. I’m not sure what affect they can have other than suing where they find issues and they’ve been doing that.

Not to sound dumb, but was there a Libertarian running with Walker and Warnock? If so, it will help Walker.

No I don’t believe it. Even here people are so gullible when it comes to vote fraud.

“But would you not say that black areas are the most fertile for scamming. Few Republicans are brave enough to monitor these precincts in person. Too much thuggery and anti-white racism. You can get assaulted there.”

I would agree. Those areas I mentioned in metro Atlanta may be technically “suburban” counties, but don’t imagine that fact makes them lily-white. DeKalb and Clayton in particular are even worse places than much of inner-city Atlanta.

Yes, there was last-minute Libertarian candidate in the midst of all this...and I think now that the third party is not involved, it will help Walker.

At least, it traditionally does help the GOP when the third party has to drop out. However, the Libertarian in question is a former Dem so I think it’s less of a sure thing that his voters will go to Walker.

Most of them probably won’t vote, but hopefully those that do will go to Walker.

Definitely not people on FR. I’ve never seen such negativity. It happens every election. I got hammered for posting that I was working as a poll watcher last year for the Youngkin campaign and that I thought he could win. The negative comments were many and were very ugly and defeatist. I guess FR mostly has keyboard warriors and no real life warriors.
