We saw earlier this year when Kansas voted like 60-40 against a pro-life ballot referendum.

There is not one single state in this country in which a majority wants to ban all abortion. It's a huge loser for Republicans. Before Dobbs, it wasn't something voters thought much about, because these state level politicians could only go so far, but since Dobbs, the GOP has the power to give themselves some very heavy self-inflicted wounds, nationally too, when stories about abortion restrictions in deep red states make the news elsewhere.

Let’s also remember that Planned Parenthood was established as a eugenics tool to control minority populations.

With that in mind, I don’t know why anyone would expect lily-white, heavily Republican areas to do anything to restrict legalized abortion in the U.S.
