I don’t see that yet. And by what margin? Razor thin.

The GOP failed.

Trump is to blame for races where he propped up legitimately awful candidates, like Mehmet Oz. That was a brain dead endorsement. Blame Hannity all you want, but Hannity’s endorsement means squat, Trump’s endorsement won him the nomination.

No he didn’t. He pulled funding for those who didn’t support him or were MAGA.

They losses may not be as obvious, but it appears to be the case.

“Sorry, don’t agree. Because of the condition of the country right now, it should have been an absolute trouncing of the Democrats across the board.

Because it wasn’t a trouncing, the reverse is true, it was an absolute repudiation of the Republicans and their policies. We lost “uuuuge” . “

As of right now, totally agree....

How do you know it paralyzes their agenda? Biden might get more of his agenda passed now. Manchin and Sinema have no power now.

I know the country was already in trouble before COVID…but the stupidity, government conformity, and willingness to turn on a neighbor reinforced how f’ed up a huge portion of the population is.

Was hoping for enough change in power to legalize freedom again. As conservatives we are wise enough not to try to have the government run everything and solve all our problems. Just want them to have less power, because they sure misuse it when they get it.

“it appears that following this election, the Republicans will control the House”

Who’s reporting that? I could use some good news. Please let me know where you’re hearing this

What answers did the Republicans have? Cutting Social Security, oh yeah, that’s real smart, while sending billions to Ukraine.

Yes. The red tsunami will end up being blunted by the Trump undertow. The Republicans should be measuring the drapes already but they’re holding out hope for Walker in GA to keep the senate split. Even if we do get the house, the Republican leadership will use the slim majority as an excuse to reach across the aisle. By every objective metric we should have won big.

Try again.

Historically, the party not in control of the Oval Office makes substantial gains in the first midterm election. This year, the Republicans will have made minimal gains in the House and will lose seat(s) the Senate. This is a very poor showing compared to other midterm elections. Is that simple enough for you? Please try not to be blinded by your zealotry.

Look around the country and how each state conducts its elections, Florida has between 7.5 to 8 million votes cast, counted, and the election was certified in less than 4 hours, Florida doesn’t have mail in voting or unattended drop boxes.

Other states like Arizona, Pennsylvania, etc. all have far looser election laws with far fewer people voting and yet we told it could be this weekend before the election results are known

If elections are allowed to drag on past Election Day, Democrats will continue to cheat and win, unless that changes we are stuck with what we have today
