Amid reports former President Donald Trump had to be talked out of making his 2024 presidential campaign declaration Saturday night in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Trump teased a potential announcement Monday night in Ohio.
"I ran twice, I won twice, and I did much better the second time than I did the first, getting millions and millions more votes in 2020 that we got in 2016 – and likewise getting more votes than any sitting president in the history of our country by far," Trump told his Save America rally in Miami, Florida, on Sunday night, which aired live on Newsmax.
"And, now in order to make our country successful, safe, and glorious, I will probably have to do it again.
"But stay tuned."
Instead of his recent "very, very, very" soon teases in rallies this week, Trump suggesting something might be coming Monday night at his rally for J.D. Vance in Ohio.
"Stay tuned tomorrow night in the great state of Ohio," Trump continued, teasing his long-awaited 2024 presidential announcement with Vance on the eve of the 2022 midterm elections' final votes.
"We have to win a historic victory for Republicans on Tuesday."
Trump presidential adviser Dick Morris has told Newsmax on Saturday that Trump is repeatedly being held back in announcing officially for 2024 in order to give the GOP midterm candidates the spotlight before Tuesday.

Until this moment, I hadn't thought of it, but I probably would too.
Name one! If it's you, then stop wasting our time with your ineffectual potshots and zot yourself.
Every time a cultist flips out, FR loses another donor.
November 14th is the rumored announcement date.
Especially when the the TDS cultists flip out!
Some individuals need to get it through their thick heads that President Trump is not a woke Politician, but a businessman that cleans up the filth that our politicians have spewed over US.
He must say the things he says to draw out the vermin and sewage to flush it away. The Devil Democrats do not take anyone seriously if they only use couched words in a weak position of comity.
Anyone who cannot see that is our greatest problem.
I heard this dialogue exchange years ago in the WWII film The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp", regarding the fight against the NAZIs. Theo is the former German officer during WWI who was a friend of The General Clive Candy and had emigrated to England between the World Wars.
NAZIs, Communists, and Socialists are all the same and you cannot be Neville Chamberlain polite if you want to wipe them off of the face of the earth.
THEO It's a different knowledge they need now, Clive. The enemy is different. [[The defenders must be]] [So you have to be] different too. CLIVE [[Have you gone]] [Are you] mad? I know what war is! THEO I don't agree. I read your broadcast up to the point where you describe the collapse of [[your own sector in]] France. You commented on Nazi methods, foul fighting, bombing refugees, machine-gunning hospitals, lifeboats, lightships, baled-out pilots, by saying that you despised them, that you would be ashamed to fight on their side and that you would sooner accept defeat than victory if it could only be won by those methods. CLIVE So I would! THEO Clive! If you let yourself be defeated by them, [just because you are too fair to hit back the same way they hit at you,] there won't be any methods but Nazi methods! If you preach the Rules of the Game while they use every foul and filthy trick against you, they will laugh at you! They think you're weak, decadent! I thought so myself in 1919. [[Filthiness! That is their secret weapon!]] CLIVE (A little shaken) I[['ve]] heard all that in the last war. They played foul then. And who won it! THEO I don't think you won it! We lost it! But you lost something, too. You forgot to learn the moral. [[Because victory was yours]] you failed to learn your lesson twenty years ago, you have to pay the school fees again! Some of you will learn quicker than others. Some will never learn it. [Because] You have been educated to be a gentleman and a sportsman - in peace and in war. But, Clive, [[my dear fellow]] [dear old Clive], this is not a gentleman's war. [[This is a life and death struggle, with your backs to your cliffs against the hordes of barbarism.]] [This time you are fighting for your very existence against the most devilish idea ever created by a human brain — Nazism.] And if you lose there won't be a return match next year, perhaps not even for a hundred years! (He pats CLIVE'S [[hand]] [shoulder].) You mustn't mind me, an alien, saying all this. But who can describe hydrophobia better than one who has been bitten - and is now immune?
You’re presumably happy to have Trump pull GOP candidates over the finish line with his endorsements, non-stop campaigning, and rallying on their behalf, but “The nerve of him trying to upstage the midterms”.
The truth is, this red wave which we’re likely to see on Tuesday will be due, in large part, to Trump. Besides which, Trump announcing, the day before the mid-terms would very likely have a big positive impact on turn out. But go ahead and keep complaining. It’s obvious you too aren’t really interested in winning. Whining is more your style.
“It is time to move on. I want DeSantis in 2024.”
Of course you do. You were ready to move on from Trump in 2016.
I get a kick out of it when losers like you convince yourself that alpha-males like Trump are insecure. You crack me up!
Re: 68 - Waaaa! Fury doesn’t think like I do, so he’s a loser! Waaaa!
“Re: 68 - Waaaa! Fury doesn’t think like I do, so he’s a loser! Waaaa!”
No, that’s not it. You’re a loser because you can’t think very well. Your theory that Trump is motivated by insecurity is a perfect example.
When President Trump repeatedly talks with Maggie Haberman from the NY Times and talked with Bob Woodward - and he knows they have been highly critical of him in the past, and that they continue to be so with the information from their interviews - that is indicative of insecurity.
That’s funny because I’ve never seen a politician work so hard to get others elected. How many other people do you know who travel from state to state holding huge rallies for fellow Republicans? Come on Bruce. I don’t think you’re stupid, but you really need to up your game and think before making such foolish statements.
See, that’s just another example of faulty reasoning. You have no idea what motivates Trump, but since you don’t like him you choose a comment like “...is indicative of insecurity” to explain something you don’t really understand. Trump has been highly successful at politics - something he only took up 7 years ago, so his decisions regarding who and who not to talk to, and when and when not to talk to them has served him well. There are many other reasons why Trump might talk to a Woodward or Haberman that have nothing to do with insecurity. For one thing, he’s a fighter and enjoys sparring with his critics. For another, by engaging with them he exposes them.
Actually, Haberman has discussed why she think President Trump talks with her. I’d say, rightly or wrongly, she has better insight into the reasons than a lot of people.
We’ll never agree on this issue.
The furthest DeSantis will go is being Trump’s apprentice (vp) if he is lucky.
Putting faith in any individual is the path to failure. But that’s obviously something that y’all not ready to hear. Anger’s not going to change it. If you’re gonna shut your eyes in a knife fight you’re gonna get cut.
Know the enemy and know yourself in a hundred battles you will never be in peril. When you are ignorant of the enemy but know yourself, your chances of winning or losing are equal. If ignorant both of your enemy and of yourself, you are certain in every battle to be in peril.
I have three words for DeSantis supporters: Remember Mike Pence.
Yeah, I looked thru your posting history and saw nothing but negatives toward Trump for over a year and more....
Right! He is going to ignite and motivate the left to get out and vote and Tuesday and not to mention depress the vote against desantis in fl amongst trumps die hard supporters because trump has made it seem that a vote for Desantis is a vote against Trump.
I used to wonder why we picked terrible advisors. But now i don’t think that’s it. He just ignores them.
Universally? Now that’s idiotic.
