This speculating about Paul’s Pounding Party is going to remain the public’s collective mind for a good while.
If this is fake as in the old October Surprise, I don’t think it’s producing that cresting wave of sympathy for the Devil, I mean, for the Dems as was expected.
It’s mysterious and illogical to the point of being quietly amusing. Dems don’t like being giggled about.

The Conserative Treehouse put up a document that said it took 8 minutes for the SF police to show up after the phone call.
There was a photo of the rear door posted on this site earlier.
It shows a door with a removed mullion(?) and the glass broken enough to permit the door to be unlatched at both its bottom and top. This suggests that the break-in was genuine.
The neighbors probably had security cameras which should show the approach of the alleged assailant.
Knowing the time of this approach would be informative.
Hopefully some neighbor reviewed their recording before the FBI collected it.
And did DePape step through the hole in the door without breaking out the rest of the glass above the next mullion below?

This is the real scandal.
It’s awful that Pelosi was injured. It’s awful that violent attacks occur routinely across America.
It’s awful that the left despises regular Americans. That it blames regular Americans as the hammer wielders.
But it’s utterly predictable that the left has to turn this attack into more nasty political scolding of regular Americans.
The ABC radio newsbreak I heard today had an interview with one of the women accusing Walker of paying for her abortion. This is the second day they have targeted Walker that I know of in 3 days time. I also heard them go against Laxalt and his anti-abortion stance. They are really pulling hard for the Democrats. I usually turn off the sound when the newsbreak comes on but a few times I was unable to do it so who knows what other work they were doing for the DNC.

Residents of tony Broadway Street in San Francisco are used to fleets of black SUVs surrounding the Speaker’s red brick mansion 24/7, a heavy police response to any disturbances, and even their computers getting scrambled by alleged security measures to protect the nation’s Number Three.
So when Marjorie Campbell read that her old neighbor had to call 911 himself while negotiating with a hammer-wielding madman, she was deeply perplexed.
‘There were black cars outside that house, particularly up on Normandie Terrace, all of the time,’ the 66-year-old, who lived opposite the Pelosis for a decade, told DailyMail.com.
‘I don’t distinguish between her being there and not being there. There were always multiple cars.’
Police statements and the criminal complaint against David DePape, 42, released Monday suggest that he broke in by smashing a back patio door. He confronted Paul Pelosi Sr., who phoned police and tried to talk down the crazed man. When cops burst in, DePape slugged Pelosi Sr. with a hammer.
‘Everybody in the neighborhood had alarms on our windows,’ the former neighbor said. ‘So if glass smashed, an alarm went off. We all had alarms that had chimed if the door opened or closed.’
