Yes, I do see what you are talking about, there is something white there that looks like it could be part of the frame, but there are also 2 large pieces of broken wood right outside the window on the ground that seem to be from that missing piece as well. I think the piece you think is on the inside floor is actually still attached to the outer door frame and is just hanging down at an angle.

I thought that too at first, but when I looked at it closely that seems to just be a reflection of the glass that is on the ground outside.

I do see a piece that appears still attached on the outside, as you describe. But the one I was referring to is much larger, and is obviously on the floor inside. In the photo, it is horizontal and immediately left of the door handle. There also appears to be another piece above it in the photo lying on the floor inside, and perhaps a third piece diagonally straight above the door handle. I debated whether this last was just the broken glass curled back, but it appears to be too regularly shaped. Nevertheless, there are at least two pieces I’m pretty certain about.
