So why did NBC and other media immediately jump to the conclusion that there was a ‘third person’ when the Police Chief clearly stated that ‘the door was opened by someone inside’????
It is my belief that the media and Democrat operatives are intentionally misstating the facts in order to create mass confusion as to what transpired regarding Pelosi.
In so many words, put out an assumption as a fact and then retract it. That leads the public to disregard any news regarding the incident.
Major games are being played here.
Having been an investigator, there are a lot of red flags.. but also as Ocams Razor states, the simplest is the most likely (or something like that)....
Regardless of what happened at the house, its clear DePape was not any kind of a right wing guy. His whole history is a drug induced hippy, nude activist, and basically crazy (according to his ex-life partner)... Gay pride flags in the yard with Pot symbols. BLM poster in the window, and lots of other liberal “bumper stickers” from the photos I have seen. His ex-life partner said they were both progressives, and she loved Pelosi.

We’re gonna need to see that body cam footage to verify the state of dress or undress.

My suspicion is that Nanzi organized a nightly “wellness” check after Pauli’s DUI. It is also known, now, as a “make sure that a-hole is home and not loose on the street somewhere” check.
It’s my guess that the wellness check call came in and they heard “stuff” that made them think they better stop in. When they stopped in, they were let in and discovered the tail end (no pun intended) of a little rump-fest, which went south (again, no pun intended). The pick-up (Depraved Dave) was miffed about something, and won the hammer battle, was arrested, and here we are.
They had to get rid of the third party story, as that would completely blow away (again, no pun intended) the story as being told.....home invader, poor old man being robbed and abused, and by a MAGA guy, no less.

None of us were there, but it was reported when the door opened, Pelosi and Depape were in the front door entryway.
We don’t know how far from the door either of them were.
If the police had body cameras turned on, then that will show the position of Pelosi and Depape relative to the door.

So the third cop slips in the back, walks past perp and Pelosi tussling over a hammer, says “scuse me, I’m just going to go let my 2 buddies in”
And why? It’s not something you do without some suspicion.

Paul Pelosi opens the door. Instead of stepping forward when he sees the police and pointing to the burglar, he rushes back and tried to take the hammer from the burglar.-
Burglar opens the door, holding the hammer (because as you know burglars always answer the door when the police knock). Perp sees police and rushes back to attack Pelosi.

I agree. Paul Pelosi is well known in SF and if it is known that he regularly engages in homosexual trysts, then it is pretty well common knowledge in Sodom and Gomorrah.
So that’s not really a wellness check that’s a come help my ass call. Why not just say that?
If any journalist covering this story had integrity, they would ask a few questions. Like how did this guy get in the house? Did Paul know him? Who owned the hammer? Etc.
Just watched a clip of PMSNBC’s meatball, Tommy Winter. Winter was pushing the “third person” BS on Press the Meat this morning. He also referred to “Deppe” as a far right wing member of the far right wing and he studies far right wing stuff from other far right wingers. The perp’s own wife says he a “progressive” nutcake. I think the far left wing is doing way too many drugs. The Pelosi flustercluck is flat out crazier than a bunch of banana republic bananas.
