My suspicion is that Nanzi organized a nightly “wellness” check after Pauli’s DUI. It is also known, now, as a “make sure that a-hole is home and not loose on the street somewhere” check.
It’s my guess that the wellness check call came in and they heard “stuff” that made them think they better stop in. When they stopped in, they were let in and discovered the tail end (no pun intended) of a little rump-fest, which went south (again, no pun intended). The pick-up (Depraved Dave) was miffed about something, and won the hammer battle, was arrested, and here we are.
They had to get rid of the third party story, as that would completely blow away (again, no pun intended) the story as being told.....home invader, poor old man being robbed and abused, and by a MAGA guy, no less.

You may very well be right.... I recall that when Pelosi had the DUI, there was a story about another person in the car who apparently disappeared. I don’t recall that this was ever confirmed and when I did a search a minute ago, i can’t find any refence to a second person.... perhaps it has been scrubbed? The reason I looked was because this is now the second time that Pelosi has been in the news (in a negative way) over only a few months. Are the events connected? Tell you want occurred to me... I wonder if there is some blackmail going on.
Interesting speculation. Even if the alarm system was turned off, it seems likely that video cameras could still be accessed..
