David DeP was not an armed crazed attacker.   He was a gay sex partner friend of Paul Pelosi who only went into crazy attack mode when the police barged in on their little S&M sex party.   It then makes sense that Pelosi could have used the "safe word" to get David DeP to let him use the restroom.
