My first thought was a false flag operation. It could be some right wing nutter, but most likely a run-of-the-mill robbery attempt. The burglar saw a big fancy house and thought he had some easy pickins.
False flag was also my first thought, as with the AZ Dem Katie Hobbs campaign office “robbery”. Trying to paint conservatives as dangerous lunatics.
Well, it says they have the perp in custody but there was no picture, so until proven wrong, I have a guess.
