Republican Challengers Starting to Surpass Incumbent Democrats in Governor Races

The closer Election Day gets, the more evident it becomes that last summer was the high water mark for Democrats this election cycle. Republican candidates are now surging in earnest, in many cases overtaking their Democrat opponents. This is especially magnificent to behold in several high-profile races for governor, in which Republicans are starting to put daylight between themselves and the Democrats who have been torturing constituents with regressive left-wing policy.

Few Democrat governors are more deserving of going down in flames on Nov. 8 than scary fascist Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The Mich. witch famously banned outdoor activities such as golf and landscaping — to the extent that aisles of gardening supplies were ordered closed off in large stores that were otherwise open — as part of her China-strength stay-at-home executive orders during the COVID times.

Whitmer really loved her emergency powers, and Michiganders remember. On Friday, Real Clear Politics projected that Gretchen would suffer a defeat to Republican Tudor Dixon by nearly three points. Flip!

Much of the polling is showing more negative momentum for Democrats vs. positive momentum for Republicans. People are increasingly deciding not to vote for Democrats but haven’t yet decided to say they will vote for the Republican...but they likely will.

The state Dems’ best chance was to disown Biden and his policies. That haven’t done it in any meaningful way. Many will pay the price.

The summer Dem “surge” was mostly Republican support softening rather than shifts to Dems.

Michigan hasn’t had a one-term governor in many decades, if this proves to be the case then this election day will be one for the ages, it’s going to be a slaughter like we haven’t seen before.

But then again, Hussein got clobbered after two years and then some after forcing KenyanKare on us, then got re-elected.

And here we are again.

Tulsi Gabbard is one. Bill Maher isn’t a politican but he’s a Liberal who is being critical of Democrats’ asinine policies of late.

This may force Joe Biden to get rid of the ideologues advising him and bring in the Clinton gang with people like Dick Morris. So Biden will have to find the center to get reelected. Or he'll be an one term President like Jimmy Carter.

It’s so absurd that every year as pollsters switch over from “registered” voters to likely voters that everyone pretends the races suddenly got better for Republicans.

It was always the same.

Tulsi Gabbard is one.

I meant the best chances for Dems running for re-election. Gabbard is out of office and already on the naughty list, so she can speak up.

I only see one Republican candidate that is surpassing the cheat margin, DeSantis. Kemp is getting close, but not there yet.

Sounds like Gestapo Gretchen has been driven back to her Fuehrer bunker.

The one I would REALLY love to see the Republican win is Mastriano in Pennsylvania.

Still, winning Wisconsin and Michigan would be a huge deal. It would mean both states would get real election integrity laws passed in time for the 2024 election.

Hoping that Paul Lepage wins against governor Janet Mills here in Maine. Her ads against him have been so nasty.

“I only see one Republican candidate that is surpassing the cheat margin, DeSantis.”

With better poll watchers, reformed election laws in several states, and a couple of dozen small fish being prosecuted in places like Arizona, Texas and Wisconsin, the cheat margin is considerably narrower than 2020. The situation may not be what you or I want but it is incorrect to say that nothing has been done.

Complain about RINOS all you want, but they stopped HR1 which would have enshrined election fraud into law.

you are giving Biden’s brain way too much credit. If you think he’s running things in the White House then you haven’t been watching him.

Joe is a politician. There are a couple of people handling him. Jill. Barack. Who else? My money is on Jill. So Joe will get rid of people who's giving him bad advice and get new people.

LOL, LOL, LOL. The people handling Joe are the ones giving him the bad advice. They will not replace themselves.

Joe, even when he was at his best, is too stupid to know what is going on. And now, He certainly can't figure it out.

His administration will continue on as is, tone deaf, rudderless and ineffective. And then, one way or another, he will not run again.
