What’s up with all these polls suddenly shifting towards republicans in the last several days?

I can come up with two theories;

1) They pollsters were directed to lie to give democrats hope all summer and months leading up to the election, but the pollsters need to be accurate in the last week or two in order to claim they still have credibility.

2) They know the republicans are really going to run away with it, and they are still lying, but not as much anymore. They want democrats to think it’s still close so they wont be so demoralized that they don’t vote.

Not hope. Money. No one wants to donate to a losing campaign. To keep the money spigots open, they inflate Democrat numbers. You think Democrat numbers are terrible? Think of what they would be without a lie a second Democrat ads blanketing the airwaves. The only keeping Democrats competitive is their money advantage. How big is that edge? 4 to 1 in very competitive districts.

Then, as Election Day approaches, pollsters move towards reality, because they are rated based on their final predictions, not the early ones.

There are many potential theories but all of them involve the pollsters lying to aid the Democrats as much as they possibly can.

Look at what has happened in Europe. Italy has its first female PM and she is conservative. Hungary is Conservative. The Brits threw out its dingbat after 44 days. Why shouldn’t and can’t America go full frontal conservative?

Reminds me of “Unskew the polls” from 2012, the right wing effort to pour some special sauce adjustment on legitimate poll results that they did not like. Did not turn out well.

3) Election fraudsters strive to “win” critical elections by narrow margins so the fraud won’t be so obvious, and they need the pollsters to deliver “too-close-to-call” polls that confirm that.
