“If enough countries decide the US dollar isn’t the reserve currency, we are really screwed.” Why is that?
I’m certainly not going to defend the shitty government we have but we are the most reliable people. Especially in a world where all the money’s value is based on faith and trust, as opposed to coercion and deception.

I think that you missed the point. If things change from the way they currently are in the International monetary system, we are in big trouble.
Because they will dump the Dollar which has been massively overprinted. If you think inflation is bad now, wait until we are awash with a rapidly deflating currency.
