The Establishment is Still Terrified of Donald Trump

Barring intervention from the justice system, Donald Trump will be the Republican presidential nominee in 2024. His odds of defeating an abject, potato-brained failure like Joe Biden are looking better every day. Whether they admit it or not, the establishment is starting to dread the very real possibility of Trump returning to power through the normal operations of what we used to call democracy, or what’s left of it, anyway.

This is really all we need to know about the continued hysteria over January 6 and the government’s fishing expedition relating to some files Trump was keeping at Mar-a-Lago without permission from ideologically compromised librarians at the National Archives. The apparatchiks in the permanent administrative state see Trump not as a threat to democracy, as they claim, but as a threat to themselves and their power. While the bureaucrats have made significant inroads under the lawless Biden regime, they have not, at least not yet, been able to make Trump and the people he represents go away. This terrifies and angers them. As long as dissent is a possibility, they won’t be satisfied.

The regime mouthpiece, Washington Post, expressed the anxiety of the nomenklatura in a recent hand-wringing screed depicting the doomsday scenario of Trump’s restoration. What more could Trump possibly do, after winning an election he wasn’t supposed to win in 2016 and then almost stealing another with help from QAnon, to harm “Our Democracy™”? Well, he could install “loyalists” in the federal government (as opposed to the disloyal bureaucrats from his last administration who went on TV to testify against him in partisan show trials). He could “politicize the FBI” with “endless” investigations into his opponents. Just imagine! A president using the justice system as a political weapon? That would be shocking.

And he's still standing.

“Feckless nobodies like former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) say Trump is “unelectable,” but this is not only incorrect, it shows a poverty of political vision. Far from being a threat to American democracy, Trump and his movement represent an unvanquished pocket of democratic resistance to the bureaucratic tyranny of globalism. If there is any hope for American democracy, it lies with Trump overcoming this administrative hydra and its chokehold on our constitutional government.”

They are not only terrified that he might return, but of the great influence he still has and the sentiments he arouses. I hope his continuing legacy is a thorn in their sides forever.

We've never seen a political party commit suicide in the extreme way the Democrats are doing.

I only pray they are as terrified of him as WTP are
of what our government has become. Where there is tyranny there is fear. Having been engulfed with fear for over 10
years tends to shorten lives
lives and tempers. MAGA or die trying.

He has the ‘goods’ on them and they are terrified. The raids didn’t find ‘em.

They have good reason to be terrified of Donald Trump. If he gets into power—one way or another—they could be screwed. Demands for justice, investigations, impeachments, deportations, assassinations, Hillary will not be walking around free anymore. Its him or them—That is why I fear they will have him killed (like Kennedy).

Some WokeLeftazi translations:

“White Supremacy” = Judeo-Christian, no matter skin color.
“Disinformation” = Any questioning or opposing the latest WokeLeftazi narratives.

“MAGA domestic terrorists” any citizens seeking to overturn the SwampDeeCee/BigTech/corporate “moneychangers.”

Crime in streets, corporate boardrooms and open border = “equity”.

January 6 hearings: an outright admission 2020 election was a fraud. If not, the WokeLeftazis would demand full investigation if MAGA protests were easily proved wrong.

All are “threat to our democracy” and worthy of early AM FBI raids.

They are terrified of a much more savvy to the ways of Washington Trump who knows he cannot trust the RINO Establishment will return to office and set about systematically dismantling the administrative state the leftist globalist Establishment weaponized against him and his supporters at every turn.

That is of course exactly what he needs to do when he wins in 2024.

And if he doesn’t run or doesn’t win in 2024 then what...?? And if Republicans win the Senate and the House this midterm what are they going to do..?? More gridlock, more useless investigations, more partisan politics that don’t do us, The American People, any good..??

I have spent my last 4 weekends knocking on doors, leaving flyers, etc. for Republican candidates in my state. And the one big question all people I have talked to ask is...”what are the Republicans going to do different if we win the midterms”..?? It’s one thing to bash the Democrats but if we don’t articulate a better vision with specifics on what we will do different I fear we will get just more of the same nonsense in Congress. And voters are less and less willing to put up with empty slogans and empty promises.

The very first thing Republicans can do is stop the Democrats from enacting any more of their insanity. Then they can impeach Biden and investigate everything Democrat.

In terms of enacting legislation - that’s impossible without both houses of congress and the presidency.

I agree with the investigations but what would impeaching Biden do? Without the 67 votes in the Senate for conviction and removal it’s meaningless and would likely backfire politically. Normal people, meaning people who don’t live and breathe politics would view it as a waste of time and money. They would call it political virtue signaling particularly in light of our current real problems.

What would impeaching Biden do? It would show the Left that unlike the weak kneed RINO Establishment, we will hit back just as hard. It will also show what a partisan political sham impeachments like both of the shampeachments run against president Trump are now.

The left won’t learn anything from it. They know without the 67 Senate votes its a PR stunt. A PR stunt that has worn thin with the public. The public will view it as just continuing the “circus”.

The only thing the Left understands is force. That’s why it is imperative that we hit them back in kind. Only the fear of retaliation will ever keep Leftists from going to the most extreme possible position.

I have heard some, not many, but mostly establishment types say this..

Every time I see a MAGA politician on video they tell us what is wrong, for sure, but they then announce what they plan for the future...Commitment to America, a laundry list of plans starting with fixing the energy problem that Dims destroyed, stop foolish spending, restore our diplomatic role internationally and every other thing that concerns me.

I must spend a lot more time searching for news in various places than some people do. I don’t feel that the Republicans aren’t telling us what their plans are.

But, that’s just me.

Your post is EXCELLENT.

I don’t understand that the theory of MAKING THOSE WHO ABUSE POWER..PAY FOR THEIR MISDEEDS is a waste of time!!!!!!!
Those responsible for my sleepless nights on occasion, must pay a price and I particularly want to see justice for two guys named Garland and Wray.

Where’s the force in impeachment but no conviction by the Senate & removal. Thanks to its overuse it has all the moral force of a note home to mother! And moral force is only a force if both sides recognize a common morality.

There might be a better chance impeaching\Senate conviction\removal of a cabinet member like the DHS secretary - Myorkas(sp). It would have a positive aspect of appearing to attack & solve a problem - the border. Make the Rats defend what they’ve done. Even then it might not be worth it unless the 67 votes are in the pocket!
