I still remember looking at Diamond Head and thinking how cool it was.

It was an interesting chapter growing up. The black sand beach, the "blow hole", geckos on the curtain rods. Running through the "fog" when spraying for mosquitos. My parents wouldn't let me stay up to see the nuclear flash from the test that occurred while we were there.
