With less than a month remaining until the midterm elections, President Joe Biden’s approval rating is sagging in six key states where Republicans lead in the battle for control of Congress.

Results compiled by Rasmussen Reports from more than six weeks of telephone and online surveys of Likely Voters find Republicans ahead on the generic congressional ballot in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. In three of those states – Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania – Biden’s total approval is at 41%. His approval is 46% Michigan, and 43% in both Ohio and Wisconsin.

The generic ballot question – “If the elections for Congress were held today, would you vote for the Republican candidate or for the Democratic candidate?” – is a crucial metric for the midterm elections. Rasmussen Reports has been asking this question nationally of Likely Voters for months, and the state-by-state results are collected from recent surveys:

Exactly. It’s not the people who vote that counts, it’s the people who count the votes. I suspect another ‘amazing’ win for the commiecrats.

Insanity, actually. America is a nation of retards if Mr. Potato Head is out of single digits. Maybe school teachers are over-sampled.

So in most of these states voters are voting Republican in Congressional races but democrat in governor and Senate races? Sure, I believe that.

“voting Republican in Congressional races but democrat in governor and Senate races?”

It’s much harder to juice the vote in many congressional races. Most competitive congressional races are in districts that are NOT dominated by inner city democrat machines. Statewide races always have one to several democrat strongholds and that’s where the cheating happens.

I keep seeing reports that republicans may not take the senate. My estimate is a republican gain of 4-6 seats.

Huge republican gain in the house. Completely neutering biden/0bama inc.

There are a LOT of teachers in the US. Think about it—I bet all of us know a teacher or two as friends or family. In my own family I have a sister in law who is a teacher, and another who is a sub. And a middle school teacher friend and a high school counselor friend. And they all are covered by the CTA. That’s why teachers unions have such outside influence. Teachers are EVERYWHERE
