Gabbard said the Democratic Party is controlled by 'fanatical ideologues who hate freedom'

...

Tulsi Gabbard will hit the campaign trail with Republican New Hampshire Senate nominee Don Bolduc, after announcing her shocking exit from the Democrat Party because she believes they are "controlled by fanatical ideologues who hate freedom."

...

she denounced the "elitist cabal of war-mongers" who make up her former party and divide the country by "racializing every issue and stoking anti-white racism."

...

Gabbard made headlines Tuesday after she announced she would be leaving the Democratic Party she once represented in Congress, her reason being that the party is "driven by cowardly wokeness."

"I can no longer remain in today’s Democratic Party that is now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness, who divide us by racializing every issue & stoke anti-white racism," Gabbard said

...

"Who actively work to undermine our god given freedoms that are enshrined in our constitution. Who are hostile to people of faith and spirituality. Who demonize the police, but protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans. Who believes in open borders,"

...

"I believe in a government that is of the people, by the people and for the people. Unfortunately, today's Democratic Party is not," she continued. "Instead, it stands for a government that is of, by and for the powerful elite. I'm calling on my fellow common sense, independent-minded Democrats to join me in leaving the Democratic Party."

...

"When you look at this party, today's Democratic Party, it is controlled by fanatical ideologues who hate freedom," Gabbard said.

More power to her. I suspect she’s angling less for political office, and more for a larger podcast audience.

I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt to a degree in that, as a Hawaii native, if she ran as a Republican, she would certainly lose and be unable to effect any change.

Remember, Ronald Reagan was once a Democrat.

Also, as people get older and hopefully wiser, they tend to get more conservative.

She is backing several Trump candidates. Maybe she lacks true Conservative chops at the moment, but if she can sway a few percent in the middle in some key races, see my first sentence.

This (her leaving the Democrats and calling them fanatical ideologues who hate freedom) is IMHO more significant than it might seem. This is a woman who was at one time a rising star in the Democrat party, who was the VP of the DNC, and who ran for the presidency as a Democrat.

It will be interesting to see what the Democrats try to do to her. Remember, she was accused by Hillary of being a Russian plant..

Is that all it takes? Talk is cheap.

A former Democrat - who voted for Bernie Sanders! with a military background in psyops. Eeeeeyup, she’s a keeper.

Not unlike the ouster of Joe Lieberman from being a top level donkey.

Gabbard is pro-abortion and pro-gun control. Both are non-starters for anyone who calls themselves conservative.
She may sound like a sane rational person, she may be, but she’s got some bad views and opinions.

Agree 100%
She may sound rational, and at least isn’t full-retard; but she is a leftist. She is a non-starter for anyone calling themselves conservative.
Too many people are fooled by a pretty face.

“Is Bolduc a conservative or a ‘moderate’?”

During the primaries he was being pushed as a conservative and was endorsed by PDJT, I believe.

Then it was said that immediately after he won, he completely distanced himself from Trump. I don’t know what’s true here.

The Republican party was formed by previous members of both the Democrat and Whig parties over just a handful of issues those parties were not addressing (with slavery at the top of the list).

The first Republican platform ends with this paragraph:

Resolved, That we invite the affiliation and cooperation of the men of all parties, however differing from us in other respects, in support of the principles herein declared; and believing that the spirit of our institutions as well as the Constitution of our country, guarantees liberty of conscience and equality of rights among citizens, we oppose all legislation impairing their security.

There is a realignment going on. We're going to have to decide what our core issues are--our real core--and what we can compromise on.

Not winning is the same as losing. We need a coalition big enough to win.

We'll never win with a coalition made up of just us, or of us and RINO traitors. We're going to have to find more people.

I've never believed in Bush's "big tent" but I'v also never believed in forming a conservative island.

"Your proof?"

That she's all over the news, and seems to enjoy being in the controversial limelight. This is the same woman who quit as Vice Chair of the DNC in order to fully support and campaign for commie Bernie Sanders. Leopards don't change their spots. You can like her, and what she says. That doesn't mean I have to. She's an opportunist at best, saying what she thinks people want to hear just to get the attention, and plenty of stupid people are being sucked in. She pro-abortion, yet is against the death penalty. She's liberal on other political views as well like gun control, and Medicare for all. Anybody who is all for killing babies, shouldn't be given the time of day by any true Conservative.

Has she been doxxed, cancelled, suspended or removed from Twitter/Facebook yet?

Just my $.02. What small tents the parties have become. Of course as a Democrat, she has voted with the dems on many things. On day one of leaving the party, she's not going to be to the right of Rush, Trump, et. al, but maybe give her a little time to prove herself a little. I watched her 30 minute Rumble video, and at least on face, her views are certainly right of a lot of so called Republicans I can think of. Everyone was such a fan of the Walk Away movement, but at the end of the day, those folks still were gay but not voting D. Watch the video and then report back with exactly what you disagree about and resist the temptation to say "but, but, but, she voted this way on this or that...". I know several people who were sooo hard left but have changed to be good strong conservatives. If at the end of the day, all she is is one less vote for the evil empire, I give her credit. She may swing some votes, and she did invite other Democrats to join her leaving the corrupt party. God bless.
