It is amusing.
50=75 thousand deaths later, and I just spoke to one person
who actually said they wanted to wait and see what Putin does,
before they judge him to be a threat.
I mentioned all the nations Putin and his generals have
verbally attacked like they were the Ukraine before he
invaded.
One was Poland. Poland is on the border of Germany.
I mentioned that Russia would then be on the very border
with Germany. Of course the U.S. and Germany have not
threatened to occupy territory right next to Russia, but
of course Russia on Germany’s border shouldn’t be
considered a threat evidently.
This person had no problem with that.
Russia has a dwindling population. I think Putin wants the manpower of Ukraine, as well as strategic location, energy resources, VAST agricultural output.
But these folks will tell you Putin attacked a worthless country because of (pick one)

And an all time favorite - Ukraine is really Russia and the Ukrainians WANT to be invaded.
