Michael Flynn, an outspoken ally of former President Donald Trump, had harsh words for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Saturday.
Flynn previously served as a lieutenant general in the U.S. Army before taking on the role of national security adviser in the early days of the Trump administration. He resigned from the position amid a controversy over his communications with a Russian ambassador and has been generally noted for his strong connections to Russia throughout his various careers.
On Saturday, Flynn appeared on the conservative, pro-QAnon web series, "The Mel K Show," where he discussed the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. In a clip shared to Twitter by left-leaning pundit Ron Filipkowski, the former Trump official offered strong praise for Russian President Vladimir Putin and Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, calling them "bold leaders who have everything at stake in terms of protecting their country." Flynn also derided Zelensky, calling him a "foolish person, a dangerous fool."

Ran jobs in the US. They’d disagree. I’m against war, and the west being involved.
Well, pure speculation except for the part where he invaded several of his sovereign neighbors, who happen to be in Europe.
Are you telling me “trust Putin, he’s only interested in Georgia and Ukraine?” Are you sure there aren’t any other countries that are rightfully part of the historic Russian empire?
I haven’t talked to him but he’s told the world who he is.
Are you willing to stand next to the families that will be receiving the bodies of their loved ones and explain to them why the US had to get involved in Ukraine’s problem?
Can you read? I answered you in the last post.
No if we send troops into Ukraine, yes if we need to defend NATO.
Now tell me, what gives Putin the right to invade?
Again...are you willing to tell the parents of dead soldiers how important it was to defend Ukraine? Yes or No.
Saying...no troops in Ukraine is not the answer to the question. That’s a BS political answer trying to avoid.
So:
1. NATO is a relic from over 60 years ago, just like the UN, that the US does not need to be a part of any longer. Europe and their EU Army should have to defend themselves.
2. I do not care that Russia invaded Georgia and Crimea. Most people couldn’t find either on a map.
3. Invading either had ZERO effect on my life other than reading ridiculous comments from folks that have no problem sending kids to a war that has no bearing on the security of the United States of America.
4. NATO is our friend. NATO helped us in Afghanistan. The United States provided damn near EVERYTHING in that country. Coalition forces were there as a result of the United States’ Military logistical machine.
5. Amazing that after over 20 years of war, you’re willing to subject US troops to another one that, other than your “Russia Bad” ideology, plays not one role in what happens here.
This country is falling apart at the seams and, again, you’re worried about a money laundering, arrogant puppet, who had no problem doing some horrible things to the Russians that have been living in Ukraine, because Russia Bad.
Again...You’re obviously a RINO/Globalist. But they do have a unit where foreigners can join the Ukraine military and fight against the Russians. Feel free to join at any time so you can put your money where your mouth is. Or is it only okay when someone else goes to war and does your bidding?
Yes it is the answer. I don’t support any Americans being killed defending Ukraine.
Your ‘Ukraine problem’ is broader than that - it’s Putin’s disregard for sovereignty and borders, and it could easily get outside Ukraine and threaten NATO.
I support risking lives to defend NATO.
You don’t like the answer so you pretend to not understand.
No it isn’t an answer. I asked a Yes or No question. You have chosen not to answer it because you have no compassion for a mother and father losing their son fighting for no reason and dying.
You can talk all the geopolitical gibberish you want. If Russia turns it’s aggression toward NATO and greater Europe, the US will have to make a decision. We still have bases there for some ungodly reason. We don’t need those things anymore given how easy it is to get around the globe these days. We don’t need to project our military might by having expensive and wasteful bases all over the place.
But, of course there’s something you fail to acknowledge. Most of those countries hate the US. They love the liberals in charge now, but do not care otherwise.
You talk of NATO. The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA is NATO. Without the US, NATO would have been gone long ago. Why? Pres Trump brought that up many times. Those other countries never held up their ends of the bargain and were getting a free ride.
You support risking lives to support NATO. Is your life going to be at risk? Are any of your sons, grandsons, nephews, cousins, neighbors kids, classmates of your sons or daughters going to be at risk?
it’s Putin’s disregard for sovereignty and borders, and it could easily get outside Ukraine and threaten NATO .... and if the Queen had balls she’d be the King. Pure fantasy and speculation on your part.
But, since you talk about sovereignty and borders, what about the borders of Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California. As well as any international airport in the US that takes in immigrants on a daily basis? What about AMLO and all the leaders of Central and South American countries not doing a thing to stop the absolute tsunami of humans invading this country every day, like they have been since Jan 2020 and will continue to at least Jan 2025? Are they disregarding the sovereignty and borders of the US. What about reports that Maduro is emptying his prisons and sending those nice fellas north to the USA?
I do understand your answer. Your answer is: You do not care about the welfare of the people serving in the US military as long as they do what you want them to do.
And I didn’t ask about US troops defending NATO. I asked about US troops defending Ukraine, because that is where we’re headed under the abysmal Presidential and military leadership this country has now. So, if US troops do end up in Ukraine, as I’m sure SOF is already on the ground, will you change your tune? Will your opinion change when the caskets start coming off C17s at Dover?
And, again, when are you packing for your trip over to join the ranks of the other foreign fighters willing to fight for a money laundering puppet of the globalists? Make sure to send pics.
