Not a expert at all, just asking based on what I have seen of real explosions.

That was a pretty big fireball, and there was no supersonic shock wave, although that could be due to white out and how close the cameras were to the blast.

Is a truck bomb loaded with ammonium nitrate fuel oil (ANFO) a possibility? Like the 1993 WTC truck bombing?

the explosion happened in the early morning, right at the shipping span, so I’m guessing it was placed from below during the night

especially since both ends of the bridge are carefully guarded
