The point of a neutral party investigation is that it’s a neutral party, not a vested interest party. Now I suppose given the situation Sweden might not be as neutral as this investigation really should have. But, not sure anybody really provides that. But definitely Russia should not be involved. Neither should the US. Or Germany.
Then who? Denmark, literally a NATO "Lilliput" under the total operational control of "Gulliver" America, is a founding member of NATO.
Sweden has been a virtual member ("cooperating" is the term of political art) of NATO for Baltic naval affairs for 30+ years.
Germany is the most greatly harmed nation.
Poland is pushing to get American nuclear weapons on its territory, and Poland has both American US Navy and Polish "Sea Hawk" helicopters at its Gdansk NATO naval base. Helos that very likely carried the "anti-mine" (wink wink) UUVs that blew up the pipelines.
So who, exactly, should carry out this impartial investigation, with Russia excluded (by NATO)?
See 17 for pictorial context to the above.
Exactly.
This key requirement immediately excludes all parties associated with NATO from any part of this investigation.
Obviously, this Nord Stream investigation is fraught with red-hot special interest concerns by all parties.
The situation seems headed for some kind of inevitable confrontation.
