So far, it seems to be the mothers who “support” their children’s gender dysphoria and that most of the children are male. One has to wonder if these mothers hate men so much that they’re willing to mutilate their sons, physically and mentally, as a way to prevent them from turning into men.

Agreed. The kindest and most considerate way to care for these messed up, brain washed kids is to be completely honest about what to expect from the chemicals and surgeries, as well as convince them that they are going to destroy themselves permanently over a temporary issue.
As for the parents, teachers, and other adults who groom the children to meet their unrealistic and abusive expectations, those people may be beyond help but should be permanently separated from the innocents.

There is absolutely no way this could happen under normal circumstances for some real biological reason.
Otherwise we would see animals gnawing off their genitals and breasts and that’s not happening.

It should have been obvious to my parents that I identified as a Princess. They never did anything about it though!
Joking aside, I have two sons. I would have been equally pleased with two daughters, or one of each. It never occurred to me to try and convince one of them that he was a girl.
I don’t consider them mentally ill as much as I think they are deliberately-targeted young minds being being fed some screwed up fantasy dream by a very small segment of this country, supported by its current leftist government.
I grew up in the same era, and you’re right, it wasn’t a thing.
Life was much simpler when I was growing up back in the 1960s.
Back then, when a kid around these ages asked what the difference was between a boy and a girls, a stock answer was girls had long hair, boys had short hair.
So back then, this transition stuff would have been easy. Let the kid’s hair grow out (boy to girl) or cut it short (girl to boy).
Then in a week, or a month, or whenever sanity prevailed, they would be only out the cost of a bad haircut, not the functions of their bodies for the rest of their lives.

I’ve noticed that those who are really enthusiastic about mutilating kids are often the mothers/step-mothers of children.
There was even some case where a step-mother got custody of a couple’s “daughter”. The judge didn’t like that the biological father did not support “transitioning”.
The stepmother was going to have the man’s son castrated. The stepmother and judge should be in prison for life.
I don’t care if the judge has some official title.
“they will never be able to have children” I’ve no problem with mentally unfit people NOT reproducing.

The indoctrination process continuously uses the word "transgender" . . . and it ultimately screws up another kid that is really . . . . just a kid, maybe with a couple of more difficulties than "usual" and has begun a journey into darkness.
Not “gender-affirming care” but delusion-affirming care.
No one is assigned male/female at birth. This is the big lie they repeat a million times a day.
No one is “transgender.”
