The golf course was in South Korea, the headline is confusing but it means “in response to North Korean missile test” ... we had a thread up last night about this before the details were known, just at first report it appeared that there had been a massive explosion at an air force base on the east coast of South Korea, then later on it came out that missiles had been launched from there in a joint US-ROK exercise and one (South Korean) missile had failed to launch, crashing “nearby” ... it was not stated at that point that the nearby was a golf course. Not sure but think this happened before dawn local time as first news pictures showed the flames in a night sky, which would be good as South Korea is a fanatical golfing land and that course was probably going to be full of people in the daytime.
