Former President George W. Bush is expected to attend an upcoming fundraising event for Joe O’Dea, the Republican Senate candidate in Colorado, in mid-October.
Bush’s rare appearance on the campaign trail comes after O’Dea posted big numbers in the recent July-September quarter, reporting $3 million in fundraising. Of the funds, $1 million included a personal loan from O'Dea.
Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, is also expected to attend O’Dea’s upcoming Colorado fundraiser.
In a recent appearance on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” O’Dea said that he would not support former President Donald J. Trump if he chooses to run again in 2024.

Yes colorado is now a deep blue state. Not that it matters in this case. Odea has already come out and said he supports a law restricting abortion AFTER 15 weeks. spit

The Chimp Chorus speaks up.
I once thought the comparisons of Dubya to a chimpanzee were disgraceful and downright scurrilous, but then there have been rumblings that much of the war talk involving Russia was being propagated by just such a “chimp chorus”, akin to the chattering monkeys of “The Jungle Book” by Rudyard Kipling.
A distinctly different image is beginning to emerge.

I no longer have any respect for any Bush. The Bush family never criticized Obama but was quick to criticize Trump for implementing policies that the Bush family had campaigned on for years in order to get elected in various positions throughout this nation. Plus, Bush pushed through the Patriot Act which was a gift to the left and has been abused ever since.

Figures - Georgie supporting the RINO who wants to codify Roe v Wade at the Federal level.
True conservative Republicans in Colorado are having none of it. O'Dea has no morals.

George W. Bush supporting someone makes me worry about the someone that George W. Bush is supporting. Okay, clever that.
From a recovering Dubya supporter (I'm a vet and Dubya supports vets, I don't easily abandon earned support), that said, when Dubya came out in support of the Lizard... I'm outa here. It's unlikely that Dubya can ever earn my support again.
