This Ukraine war reminds me of The pre-WW2 Spanish Civil War. The US and Russian military developers and planners are both happy testing weapons and tactics. In this war the residents and ground troops are the ones who pay the human cost.
Don’t you know Comrade, Putin had a good reason to blow up the pipelines to help his Gazprom buddies. They have contracts with Germany to provide gas to 2030. Apparently Germany has to pay even if gas is not delivered ‘til 2030. If Russia turns off the pipeline Gazprom has a weak court case. If someone else blows up the pipelines, the case for Gazprom is much stronger.
